Distinguished Alumni  Awards 2022

The Howick College Distinguished Alumni Awards are presented to former students of Howick College who have accomplished outstanding achievements and made significant contributions to their professions, their communities, the nation and beyond, through service of a personal or humanitarian nature, or through contributions to the arts, sports, charities or business.  These Awards celebrate, recognise and acknowledge the diverse achievements of our growing and vibrant alumni community both in New Zealand and overseas.

All recipients demonstrate the Howick College 4C values of Courtesy, Commitment, Curiosity and Courage.

DISTINGUISHED ALUMNI ACHIEVEMENT AWARD

 

This award recognises an individual who has achieved exceptional accomplishments in their business or professional life. The recipient has made a significant contribution through their efforts in their profession to any or several aspects of the social. cultural, sporting, environmental and economic wellbeing of the community and/or nation.

DISTINGUISHED ALUMNI SERVICE AWARD

 

This award recognises an individual who has given specific and commendable service to the College, community or the nation for worthy causes. They have made outstanding contributions to assisting disadvantaged groups or individuals to address inequalities, social, humanitarian, or environmental issues. They also exhibit integrity and demonstrate commitment to the service of bettering the lives of others and making a positive change in society.

'RISING STAR' YOUNG ALUMNI AWARD

 

This award recognises an individual aged 35 or younger (at the time of nomination) as a ‘Rising Star’ who has achieved remarkable things since graduating Howick College and who is on their way to reaching even greater success in life. They have demonstrated outstanding leadership qualities and have made a positive contribution through their professional life or voluntary service to the College, community and/or nation
