Stationery & BYOD Requirements
Stationery Requirements
Stationery lists for all subjects are available via the OfficeMax website. Items can be purchased online from OfficeMax or from another stationery supplier of your choice.
All students need essential items such as pens, refill paper, rulers, and pencils. Check your child's subject-specific requirements, particularly for specialist subjects, to ensure they have everything needed for learning.
Some subjects require workbooks that remain the student's property. These workbooks contain sections for notes and activities that enhance learning. Workbooks not included in stationery lists are paid for via your myKindo account and distributed by subject teachers.
Chromebooks are suitable for most schoolwork (Years 9-13). However, students taking Digital Design or Media Studies will need a Windows laptop or MacBook to run Adobe Suite at home. We recommend a three-year accidental damage insurance policy for all devices.
If your child's current device meets the above requirements, a new purchase is not necessary.
If obtaining a device creates financial difficulty, please contact your child's Dean to discuss options.
BYOD Requirements
All students must have a BYOD device for use at school and at home.
Minimum specifications:
Full keyboard
11 inch or larger screen
Battery life of 6-8 hours
Chromebooks are acceptable
iPads, tablets, and smartphones are NOT acceptable
Windows devices:
Windows 10 or 11 strongly preferred (Windows 7 Pro is the minimum supported)
Minimum 8GB RAM and 256GB storage
Windows 7 Home is NOT acceptable
Laptops with Celeron processors, 4GB RAM, and Windows 11 S are NOT recommended
