Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and suitably qualified Teacher of English to join our outstanding English department. You will be part of a collaborative and well-resourced faculty, delivering programmes grounded in best practice, with the exciting opportunity to teach and plan a scholarship programme.
The successful candidate will bring strong curriculum knowledge and a forward-thinking approach to teaching and learning, paired with a genuine commitment to supporting and celebrating the academic success of every student.
The Successful Candidate Will:
- Hold a current New Zealand teaching registration (or be in the process of applying)
- Hold a teaching diploma or equivalent qualification
- Have a strong knowledge of the NCEA qualification framework and English curriculum
- Demonstrate a forward-thinking approach to teaching and learning
- Show a commitment to ongoing professional growth and development
- Be dedicated to supporting and celebrating the academic success of all students
- Be a collaborative team player who thrives in a collegial and supportive environment
- Hold high expectations for both student achievement and personal professional practice
