Year 13 Subjects Studied: Science, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, English and Food Science Technology.

Joining Howick College this year as an international student was a big transition, but the support I received made it a smooth and rewarding journey. The teachers helped me adapt to the NCEA system, and with their guidance, I achieved all 60 Level 3 credits and gained University Entrance ahead of schedule. What stood out most was the inclusive culture at Howick College. I felt respected and valued, not just as a student, but as a person. The school community made it easy to connect with others, and I appreciated the opportunities to participate in class discussions, group projects, and school events. These experiences helped me grow in confidence and feel like I truly belonged.

Academically, the school provided a strong foundation. The science and health subjects I focused on were taught with clarity and passion, and I always felt encouraged to ask questions and explore ideas. The teachers genuinely cared about our success and were always willing to help.

Overall, my time at Howick College has been a rewarding journey. I’ve not only achieved my academic goals but also built friendships, adapted to a new culture, and developed skills that will support me in university and beyond. I’m grateful for everything this school has offered me, and I’ll carry these memories with pride.
