Howick College Netball Players Shine on National Stage

Congratulations to our four Howick College netball players named in the NZSS A team: Avah Sila, Charlie Lindsay, Sierra Lau’ese, and Zermahnia Manu. Avah was named captain and Charlie vice-captain.
They faced off against the Pacific Pearls team, the NZSS B team, and a team from ACT, Australia — and came away undefeated in all four games!
Well done to Carolyn Sio, Ariella Vaitupu, and Sia Neiufi who represented the Pacific Pearls team.
A special mention to Sierra Lau’ese, who earlier this year competed in the Youth Netball World Cup U21 in Gibraltar, representing the Cook Islands and finishing 8th. She flew back to NZ on Wednesday and immediately represented Howick College at the Netball Nationals!
We were also proud to see ex-students shine at the tournament: Hana Sotutu and Eseta Waqaira for Fiji, Soana Manuofetoa for Tonga, and Amelia Walmsley, who captained New Zealand!
