Hockey

Hockey is a widely enjoyed sport at Howick College, with steady and growing numbers of students participating each year. Teams are entered in the weekly competition organised by College Sport Auckland, and selected teams have the opportunity to represent the college at the New Zealand Secondary Schools Winter Tournament.

The college fields both boys and girls teams across a range of grades, including First XI and eight-aside competitions. The programme continues to grow, and we encourage anyone interested in playing to contact the sports office or keep an eye on school communications for sign-up opportunities.
