Collection Of Students After School
The continued safety of students on our school site is of the greatest importance to us all and vehicles pose a manageable risk.
Exacerbated by Cockle Bay Primary School traffic, vehicular congestion outside our College is at its peak at the end of the day. In order to safely manage this risk, students are not to be collected from within the bus bay or main carpark areas. The only exception is for learning support parents or taxis. Our school buses have priority at this time and it is important we manage their loading and departures carefully without other vehicles using it as a thoroughfare.

We encourage parents to make a plan with their child to collect them from surrounding streets away from the main entrances. Students who are collected regularly by car at the end of the school day can be collected from entrances located either at Bledisloe or Rochester Streets which are less congested.

First Week Timetable
Please see the attached PDF below for the full details of the Year 9 programme for the first week of term 1.

We look forward to meeting all of our new Year 9 cohort and trust that their journey through Howick College is a positive experience for them. Parents are encouraged to contact the school at any time if they have queries about their child's welfare, progress and achievement. We are here to support you and your child.
