Rostering Home Industrial Action Begins Tuesday 4th June

Thursday, 30 May 2019
YR 9 STUDENTS TO STAY AT HOME ON TUESDAY 4th JUNE

Following the strike on May 29, an acceptable offer from the government has not materialise. Consequently, the PPTA teacher's union has informed us today their members will be engaging in rolling regional strikes and an action called "rostering home" to put further pressure on the government.

Rostering home is the commonly used term for industrial action in schools whereby union members do not teach students in a specified year group on a specified day and those students will need to stay at home for the day.
