They WON the Auckland Junior Open Debating tournament last weekend, blitzing through the competition to take the tile in a final against Sacred Heart. Congratulations to Marieke Bavelaar who won the UWH Sportsperson of the Year title at the Auckland College Sport Sports awards last night. Marieke (Yr13) was a member of the Senior Open team and also represented New Zealand at the UWH Age Group World championships, winning a GOLD medal with her U19 Womens team.
