Howick Life Initiatives Initiatives Initiatives
The College is currently engaged in a range of initiatives all of which are aimed at meeting individual student needs and preparing students for life-long learning.
Curriculum Differentiation and Gifted and/or Talented StudentsHowick College has committed to professional development in 2005 which will explore the theory and practice of a differentiated curriculum delivery to all students so that individual student needs are met. Identification of gifted and talented students will be the result of information pooled from teachers, parents, community and students. The process of identification and a differentiated curriculum delivery will have enormous benefits for individual students and the whole school community.
