2917 - East & South Regional winners of the 15 minute section SGCNZ University of Otago Sheilah Winn Shakespeare competition for Macbeth.

 

2016 - Siobhan Cuthill - winner of the Auckland Showdown award for Best Female in a Minor role for the Year 13 production Blood Wedding. Mrs Jilly Dryden (Head of Drama) for Best Director for the Year 13 production Blood Wedding.

 

2015 - Lyndsey Bartlett - winner of the Auckland Showdown award for Best Female Lead in a Play for her role as Blanche du Bois in A Streetcar Named Desire.

 

2014 - Leighton Stitchbury won a supporting role in the Auckland Theatre Company production of Trees Beneath the Lake. Auckland Central region SGCNZ University of Otago Sheilah Winn Shakespeare competition - Best Student Director Ben Egan for Macbeth, Best Adult Director Mrs Acheson for Merchant of Venice

 

2013 - Leighton Stitchbury - winner of the Auckland Showdown award for Best Male Lead in a play, for his role as Mr Toad in The Wind in the Willows. 

 

2012 - Congratulations to Brandon Tan, the recipient of this years Pat Hanly Award. The award is given to year 13 students who demonstrate "outstanding commitment and passion for the visual arts and community awareness." He was presented his award at the Auckland Art Gallery.

 

2011 -

Class Comedians 2011 - 2 Students Angela Mason and Logan Kitney were  chosen from Howick College to take part in the Class Comedians Programme, the workshops will prepare and mentor the students to perform in front of a live audience at the Comedians Showcase on Saturday 21st May at the Auckland Town Hall .....Well done to both of them.

 

2010 -

MANUKAU YOUTH ART AWARD 2010
Congratulations to Sarah Morovic who was chosen from four students across High Schools in Manukau City, her work was unveiled in a special ceremony and displayed on a billboard at the TelstraClear Pacific Events Centre in Manukau. This is the second year running that a Howick College Art Student has won this wonderful award, Well done Sarah.
