Several groups entertained the local audience with classical pieces and the concert ended with some lively pieces from the Howick College Jazz Band.
The first major production of 2012 was the true and inspiring story of Annie Sullivan and Helen Keller. Powerful and moving performances were delivered by two casts of students ranging from Yr 9 to Yr 13, who even learned sign language to gain a better understanding of the characters.
Congratulations to all cast members, crew and everyone involved in the production. Well done and thanks to Drama HOD Mrs Dryden and her team for their dedication and hard work.

Stage Challenge is an annual nationwide competition for secondary students to create and perform a concept dance and drama piece. Students work hard to produce a 5-8 minute performance of their interpretation of the Stage Challenge theme. The Stage challenge team, with the aid of dance teacher Mr Harada, create not only the dance itself but also costumes and the visual effects.
